For The Journey Ahead
For the journey that stretch before us, through its hills and highs,
For the purity of its path, and its purpose divine,
For its chastity and sacred sanctity
Lay down each heavy weight set your spirit free.
For the heights we long to reach, and the lightness they crave
Shed the burden you drag, the ones that make you grave
The people hurt weight , the grudges wrapped in rust,
The pains you cradle, let it turn now to dust.
Break the tear jar wide open, let the sorrow spill,
Cut down that tree of hatred on the heart's dark hill.
Taste not of its bitter fruit don’t sip its poisoned cup
Drink instead from streams of grace where living waters rise up.
Swim in rivers pure and clean, let your soul be light,
This journey is for hearts made whole, not armored up to fight.
So for the roads that lie ahead, where hope and faith await
Shake the dust, release the weight.
Step free. Walk bold not in flight. Trust Grace.
